BACKGROUND

Better World for Orphans and widows (BWOW) is a registered charitable non profit organisation operating in Zomba district, Malawi and was founded on 13th September 2022. The organisations efforts are directed towards orphans and widows through resource mobilisation from well wishers both local and international inorder to improve and uplift their livelihood standards using sustainable interventions. BWOW has five thematic areas of focus which are education, agriculture, poverty reduction, guidance and counselling and building orphanages.

VISION

Better world for orphans and widows(BWOW) envisions a society where widows are self reliant economically, are stable mentally and spiritually. The organisation is committed to see a society where the vicious cycle of poverty among orphans attain better quality education up to tertially levels. The organisation also foresees a society where homes are constructed for orphans hence eliminating the challenge of homelessness among orphans of which some are street kids. Generally, Better World for Orphans and Widows envisions a society of zero street orphan kids, zero uneducated orphans and stability among widows economically, mentally and spiritually
